About Caddelle
Caddelle is a contemporary art studio founded by South African fine artist CC Faulkner, whose artistic journey spans nearly four decades.
Beginning in the mid-1980s with traditional painting and film photography, Faulkner’s work evolved into a refined visual language shaped by architecture, culture, abstraction, and the emotional stories found within modern life.

In 2010, he established Caddelle as the commercial arm of his studio — a curated brand focused on large-format, interior-ready artworks created specifically for the needs of contemporary spaces.
While CC Faulkner continues to produce conceptual fine art under his personal name, all Caddelle pieces are created exclusively by the Caddelle Studio, ensuring a unified aesthetic and uncompromising quality.

Studio Craftsmanship & Printing Excellence
Caddelle controls the entire production process from concept to final print.
As a master of fine-art printing, Faulkner brings deep technical knowledge of colour management, archival inks, and large-format output to every piece.
All printing is done using professional Epson wide-format printers, renowned for their detail, tonal depth, and long-life archival clarity. This precision ensures each artwork achieves true-to-vision colour accuracy and exceptional visual impact.

Sustainable, Hand-Finished Framing
Every Caddelle artwork is framed in-house using South African pine sourced from sustainably managed forestry farms.
We choose SA pine for its renewable nature, low carbon footprint, and minimal transport impact — avoiding imported hardwoods such as Obeche that require long-distance shipping and create unnecessary environmental strain.
Each frame is hand-finished, offering a refined yet natural feel.
These are not mass-produced mouldings but artisanal floating frames with subtle variations and a contemporary warmth that complements the artwork.
The result is a frame that is modern, sustainable, authentic, and crafted with intention.
