What to do with all the waste that comes out of my studio?

Series: Earth Art

Size 1.2m x 1.2m

The wood waste, the forgotten offspring of countless artistic endeavors, becomes my canvas and conduit, a testament to the intersection of human touch and societal resonance. I infuse these geometric shapes with a language of patterns that speak of our intricate interplay within the tapestry of existence. These symbols, my voice in a world of visual dialects, resonate with the echoes of human intervention. They are the echoes of dreams, ambitions, and aspirations painted onto the very essence of nature itself.

The wire transforms into the threads of connection, weaving through the wooden blocks like the threads of destiny that tie our lives together. I bind the blocks together, forming a harmonious network that mirrors the intricate web of our human experiences. Each piece of wood, a chapter in this ever-evolving story, carries with it the weight of our shared struggles, dreams, and triumphs.

As I stand back, the amalgamation of geometric artistry and interconnectedness, I am reminded of the invisible threads that link us all. The discarded wood, once a silent observer, now sings the song of humanity's collective endeavor.

These pieces, resembling PC boards in their geometric style bear the marks of our ever-evolving digital age. Much like the circuits that underpin our modern existence, my wooden blocks are adorned with patterns that symbolize the complex symphony of human intervention in society. The lines and shapes, akin to the traces on a circuit board, evoke the connections we create in our quest for progress and understanding.

The juxtaposition of this technological semblance against the organic warmth of wood serves as a visual allegory, reminding us of the fusion between the mechanical and the natural. It is a celebration of the symbiotic relationship between humanity's creative endeavors and the Earth's enduring beauty.

These pieces, with their appearance of PC boards, beckon the viewer to explore the harmonious coexistence of the digital and the analog, the mechanical and the organic. They invite contemplation on the ways in which our technological advancements are intertwined with our intrinsic connection to the world around us.

In this fusion of art and technology, I find a unique narrative, one that transcends the boundaries of mediums and invites us to question our place in this ever-evolving, interconnected world. It's a testament to the beauty that can be found at the intersection of human ingenuity and the natural world, where even the discarded can be transformed into something remarkable.
